Chief Executive’s Blog: Members’ Day Keynote Speaker Confirmed

I’m delighted that Peter Bonfield, Chief Executive of BRE and Leader for Construction Products for the Olympic Delivery Authority, has accepted the President’s invitation to be the keynote speaker at Members’ Day this year.  Peter is a longstanding friend and supporter of the BWF since his days leading BRE’s timber division, and enthusiastically recalled running a workshop at a previous Members’ Day. He’s also been in the vanguard of those working on sustainable construction and particularly the sustainability of construction products.  The working theme for the programme this year is “Making the Most of the Business Opportunities From the Carbon Agenda”, so he’s bound to have plenty to say and to stimulate.  Members’ Day 2010 will be held at Holywell Park, Loughborough University on Thursday 27 May.  Put it in your diary now.  You won’t want to miss it.
