BWF Refund Policy
All orders, including Gap Testers will be dispatched from the BWF offices within 48 hours of the order being made. However, you should allow 5 working days for receipt of the order. If your order takes longer than 5 days please contact the BWF offices on 020 3870 5020 or e-mail bwf@bwf.org.uk.
Refund & Cancellation Terms
If you wish to cancel an order, you must adhere to the following:
- It must be 24 hours after the original order was made
- You must send an e-mail to bwf@bwf.org.uk You must state clearly your reasons for the cancellation of the order
- You must allow 5 working days for the refund to be processed.
The British Woodworking Federation will not accept liability for a cancelled order later than 24 hours after the original order was placed. Cancellations after this time are accepted at the discretion of the British Woodworking Federation.

If you wish to cancel a place at one of our events, you will have to contact the BWF offices on 020 3870 5020 or email bwf@bwf.org.uk prior to the date stated on the event listings.
If you cancel your place at our event, a cancellation fee will be charged. The fee is applicable as detailed.
- Cancellation up to 14 days prior to the event – full refund
- Cancellation within less than 7 days – No Refund (as we will have incurred costs by the venue)
No refund will be made for non-attendance.
You must allow 7 working days for the refund to be processed.
The British Woodworking Federation will not accept liability for a cancelled order later than the dates specified in this policy.
Substitutions of attendees may be made at any time by advising the British Woodworking Federation on 020 3870 5020 or e-mail bookings@bwf.org.uk
Cancellations after this time are accepted at the discretion of the British Woodworking Federation.
However, you can contact our offices if you would like a refund due to an error on our part.
The British Woodworking Federation reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, amend or postpone an event as a result of circumstances not within its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God; epidemic or pandemic (which to avoid doubt includes Covid-19 and any variants or threats of variants thereof); any occurrence which presents a serious threat to the health of delegates; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots; any law or action taken or restrictions imposed by a government or public authority; and/or collapse of buildings, fire, emergency or accident. In the event the British Woodworking Federation has to cancel an event in such circumstances, the British Woodworking Federation will offer attendees a full refund but shall have no other liability in connection with the cancellation, rescheduling, amendment or postponement of the event as a result of circumstances not within its reasonable control.
