Wood Awards entry deadline looms

Only four weeks left to enter the Wood Awards of which the BWF is a full sponsor – the UK’s premier awards for timber in construction. This year the event has introduced two new categories – outstanding design and outstanding craftsmanship. The main categories are designed to attract projects of all shapes and sizes in construction, joinery and furniture, with categories including commercial & public access; private; best small project; structural; conservation & restoration; best use of British timber; and furniture. The Gold Award will be presented to the overall winner, which last year was King’s Place Concert Hall. Entries must be received by May 21. For more information visit
