The BWF is the voice of the UK Woodworking industry, and our staff team works hard to support your business in every way. Below you can meet the team here at the BWF. In addition to the staff team, you can also see which members are representing you.
We are a member led organisation with our Council of members and Executive body driving the strategy. There are three Council meetings per year where the BWF's strategy is discussed. If you are a member and are interested in getting involved with the BWF Council, you can nominate yourself and are welcome to call us to discuss what it entails.
Iain has overall responsibility for the BWF's operations and direction.
Dave is the key contact for member liaison and recruitment, and oversees the membership service offering, including training provision and skills lobbying. Dave can help with membership enquiries, training queries - including funding - and manages all the BWF ToolKit+ services.
Kevin spends much of his time out of the office sitting on technical standards committees both in the UK and Europe. He works to drive standards for the advancement of our industry and offers advice through the technical helpline.
Tracey manages the finance department and membership administration. She is the main point for contact for membership application and fee enquires, general invoicing and other financial queries
Hannah heads up the BWF’s Stair and BWF-CERTIFIRE Schemes, as well as handling some stair and fire door technical enquiries, and other technical work.
Matt provides wide-ranging advice on policy, employment, legal and environmental issues and manages the BWF's communication channels such as the BWF website, newsletter and helpline. Matt also co-ordinates the BWF Code of Conduct.
Jenny is the BWF's main administrator and deals with general enquiries, queries regarding the BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme and new BWF member applications.

Sean is the President of the British Woodworking Federation contributing to the organisation's strategy. Sean also takes specific responsibility for leading the BWF's work to increase their sales and profitability in the marketplace.
David Pattenden - Immediate Past President

David is the lead member representative of the BWF setting the strategic direction for the organisation. David also leads the BWF's lobbying work and increasing enagement with the membership.
Paul Bailey - Honorary Treasurer

Paul is the Honorary Treasurer, contributing to the organisation's strategy with specific responsibilities for the BWF finances and ensuring we are a well-resourced organisation delivering exceptional value to members.

Roy was President from 2011-2013 and continues to contribute to the organisation's strategy.
Robin Baker - BWF Officer
Robin is a BWF officer contributing to the organsation's strategy, and has specific responsibility for leading the BWF's health & safety work and our 'zero accidents in the workplace' campaign.

David Oldfield - BWF-CERTIFIRE Scheme Chairman
David is an officer contributing to the organisation's strategy, he chairs the BWF-CERTIFIRE Fire Door & Doorset Scheme and thus leads on the BWF's work on fire doors.
Pauline Kelly - BWF Officer, Chair of the BWF Stair Scheme
